Giving to Yourself

The holidays are such a busy and chaotic time and often times we forget to give ourselves a break. It’s important to take time to relax and decompress as not to get overwhelmed, stressed or even sick. Even if it’s for a small amount of time, make sure to carve some out for things that will allow you to take a breather. Giving to yourself is important - don’t forget it!

Steam + Mask

One of my absolute favorite ways to self-care is to “steam + mask” aka a mini at-home spa experience. I cleanse my face and then steam with the Vanity Planet Facial Steamer and follow with a LOOPS face mask. My current fave is the Sunrise Service mask.

Get Puzzled

Puzzles are a fun and challenging way to take a break and mentally focus on something else. This activity has gained some major momentum since we are spending so much time inside. I bought this puzzle for Sarah as a holiday gift and she loved it!

Work it Out

I know this isn’t everyone’s favorite, but I love working out as a form of stress relief and self-care. It’s great to get your body moving and distract your mind. Recently I have been loving the Hot Pilates at home workouts, which you can try for free for a week. They currently have a 7 day Abs and 30 day Booty challenge which is a perfect kick-start to the New Year.

Tea Time

One of my favorite ways to relax is with a glass of tea and a magazine or book at night. It’s something to look forward to and is especially nice during the winter months. One of my current favorite’s is Yogi Tea Cinnamon Vanilla Healthy Skin. Pair your tea with an Emmy’s cookie if you want a late night snack.
