Holiday Hair: Long & Short

December 1 // à la Sarah Kurdt & Zoe Williams

The holidays are the perfect time to try out a special hair accessory or new hair tool. Zoe provides some cute long hair inspiration and Sarah provides some ideas if you have a shorter chop.

Long Hair

1) Wavy is always a go-to for me when I want to dress things up. I love the Hot Tools 1 1/2 inch curling iron. If you want to add an accessory pull your hair to the side with two barrettes for a more glam look. I love these clips from Amazon.

2) Loosely back with a claw clap is one my new favorites. It looks effortlessly chic and is also a good way to tame your hair if it’s misbehaving. Recently I have been opting for a ponytail at the nape of my neck versus a bun.

3) So recently I discovered a new kind of wavy aka the crimp. I have to say I am slightly obsessed with the Bondi Boost Wave Wand. You never know when you see something all over Instagram if it actually works, but this is the real deal. Even better, it works great on dirty hair.

Short Hair

1) Spice up a straight style with a sweet pearl barrette.

2) Beach waves all year round! I use the ghd wave wand facing away from my face.

3) A messy half bun is super cute on shorter styles. I’ve been loving the silk skinny scrunchies for this “undone” look.
