Stockings are one of my favorite holiday traditions and I am always trying to find fun things to add at the very last second. My friend Caroline, who is always on top of her holiday to-dos gave me the idea for this post and I am sharing some of my favorite picks below. I tried to include items you can pick-up at your favorite local stores and I’ve shared details for some of mine if you are local to the Richmond area. Happy shopping!
Gift Card to their “Local Spot”
This year, more than ever, it’s important we support our favorite small businesses and restaurants. It’s also nice to give yourself a break and order take-out every so often. Yes, it’s a gift card, but it’s still thoughtful when you know their fave place!

Hand-picked Hair Accessory
Hair accessories are fun and mini and come perfectly stocking sized. Bedazzled barettes and silk scrunchies have been a recent favorite of mine.

A little extra TLC for your skin
During the winter months everyone’s skin could use a little extra TLC and a body oil is the perfect fix! Pick up a custom blend at your favorite local apothecary.

For the “Mini-Me”
A good kid friendly lip gloss and nail polish is always fun and such a special treat! I would have adored this set as a child and you can put your own set together with their favorite colors if you don’t have a store nearby that sells this set.

Calling All Sweet Tooths:
Hu Kitchen Chocolate Bars
These bars come in really fun flavors like “Almond Butter + Puffed Quinoa” or “Minty Crunch.” They are Dairy Free, Refined Sugar Free and Gluten Free. The perfect sweet treat for a health nut. You can find these at your local health store.
