For Your Entertainment
November 6 // à la Sarah Kurdt
Cozy season is here. See below for what I’ve been reading, watching and listening to the past month!
TV Shows
The Sopranos - Airing in 1999, this crime-mob drama on HBO is a cult favorite. I watched all six seasons during quarantine, and now I get the hype.
The Vow - This 9 episode documentary on HBO exposes the cult NXIVM, who disguise themselves as a “self-help group.”
The Undoing - A new glamorous & dramatic miniseries on HBO starring Nicole Kidman as her life in NYC unravels. This show reminds me of Big Little Lies in the best way.
YouTube Channels
Claudia Sulewski - Claudia is an OG YouTuber and is dating Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas. She shares lifestyle vlogs on home decor, travel, beauty and brands.
Emma Chamberlain - Emma is a quirky 19 year old with a channel full of thrift store hauls, iced coffee and taste tests.
Architectural Digest - This channel shows tours of celebrity homes. I highly recommend Dakota Johnson and Hilary Duff’s tours.
Podcasts
The Blonde Files - Arielle Lorre gives fitness, diet, relationship and sobriety advice on this casual girl-talk podcast. I loved her recent episode with Lo Bosworth.
Just The Good Stuff- Rachel Mansfield, baking author and young mom interviews people in the wellness industry. I really enjoyed her recent episode with the women that founded Wild Friends Peanut Butter.
Music
Ariana Grande - Ariana’s new album Positions is finally out. I love 34 + 35 the best, let me know what you think!
Tierra Whack - A Philadelphia native, Tierra has a cool hip hop sound. Listen to Only Child and Dora.
Books
The Heart’s Invisible Furies - Based in 1950s Ireland, we follow Cyril Avery and his struggles from childhood to adulthood. This book is beautifully written.
Friends and Strangers - A modern tale of a college aged babysitter and a new Mom’s budding friendship as they navigate the very different stages of their lives.
I’d love to hear your recs! Xo.
